2 Weeks Old!

It's hard to believe, but Chance is already 2 weeks old! Here are some pictures I took on his 2-Week Birthday!



The outfit he's wearing we received from Grandpa David and Grandma Connie, complete with a soft sun visor. I just had to take a couple pics of him wearing his visor...
Isn't this funny?? Because the visor was in his line of site he kept crossing his eyes looking at it, trying to focus!

He got weighed this week and is already up to 9lbs. 4oz! He's getting big! :)

Chance is such a cuddly little guy and absolutely loves sleeping on my chest. He wiggles his way into position after I burp him.

Heading home from the hospital...

We're home! So far, so good - Chance has been sleeping since we got home from the hospital earlier this afternoon, I think his circumcision this morning really wore him out! The kids love him and have both been so helpful with everything from diaper changes to feeding him to bringing toys when he makes any noise. As for me, I'm tired, but feeling really good!

Baby Update...

Due date: Halloween
Today's date: November 3rd
Contractions per hour: None

As you can see, we've got a stubborn little girl on our hands! I had a doctor's appt yesterday during which I was really hoping the doctor would send me directly to the hospital to begin induction. Instead, we found out my blood pressure was great, swelling was minimal, baby looked fabulous during the non-stress test (which basically consisted of hooking me up to a monitor and watching the baby's heartrate and movement), and my dialation has increased from almost none to a "good" 1cm. As a result the doctor determined there was absolutely no reason, medically speaking, to induce at this time. So, we wait....

Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween the kids walked up and down Main Street in Park Rapids to get candy from the merchants, then went to visit Aunt Erica and Kay (their daycare lady). They had a great time and got way too much candy!
